Even if your firm does not have any business owned autos, there are a number of exposures that need to be considered when you have employees driving their personal vehicles on behalf of the business. We will discuss real life claim examples, best practices with business auto exposure, and some key ways to better manage this risk.
Kelly Potter is an Account Executive with Cavignac & Associates, specializing in risk management and insurance for design professionals, nonprofit organizations, schools and restaurants. In 2007, Kelly joined Cavignac & Associates. She earned her Construction Risk & Insurance Specialist (CRIS) designation in 2009 and her Professional Workers’ Compensation Advisors (PWCA) designation in 2011. She is currently working on the Charted Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation as well as the Certified.
Kelly graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from San Diego State University in 2008, where she participated on the 2007 Division Two National Championship Water Ski Team. Kelly is actively involved with many local non-profit organizations. She is a member of Women Give San Diego, a past board member for the YMCA Overnight Camping branch, and actively involved in Next Level Missions, a non-profit co-founded by her family dedicated to improving the lives of the Hill Tribes in Northern Thailand.
