DESCRIPTION:The R&D tax credit is for taxpayers that design\, develop\, or improve products\, processes\, techniques\, formulas\, or software. It’s calculated on the basis of increases in research activities and expenditures—and as a result\, it’s intended to reward companies that pursue innovation with increasing investment. \nIn this session\, Michael will discuss the R&D tax credit; more specifically\, what it is\, who can benefit and how it all works for those in the AEC industry. Real-life examples will be shown and explained\, as well a look into some of the smaller\, but important details about the credit.
