WEBINAR: Onboarding New Employees

Why is onboarding important? The answer is simple: it is the first opportunity to show new employees why the organization does what it does and to set employees up for success within the company culture. The main goal is to familiarize the new employee with the company,  to create a positive first impression, get new hires up to speed, and organizational success.

Discussion on best practices for hiring during the pandemic will be covered as well.




Diana Dix has over 20 years of human resources experience in various specialties and industries. For the past 14 years she has been in a consulting capacity working with business owners and their C-suite across varying industries. She offers insightful recommendations to mitigate risk, strategic planning and development and provides creative solutions to attract, retain and engage talent.


Prior career experience includes having worked as a Human Resource Business Partner for ADP, Human Resource Generalist for Linens N’ Things in Miami, Florida; as a Human Resources and Training Manager for the Art of Shaving in Miami; and as an Employee Relations Manager for The Biltmore Hotel, Miami.

Diana Dix holds her Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) certification, Strategic Human Resources Business Partner (SHRBP) certification, and Human Capital Strategist (HCS) certification.  She also is a graduate of Emerging Leader, a program of ADP.  She is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management, San Diego Chapter and San Diego Chapter of Hacking HR.
