Sexual Harassment Prevention Training for Supervisors and Non-Supervisors
July 31 @ 11:30 am - 2:00 pm PDT
The recently enacted SB 1343 now requires California employers with five or more employees to provide two hours of sexual harassment training for those in supervisory positions and one hour of training for non-supervisors by January 1, 2020, and every two years thereafter.
The bill also requires that newly hired employees, whether supervisors or non-supervisors, receive training within six months of hire.
SDA San Diego is pleased to offer this training and provide certificates that comply with SB 1343. Note that this month’s event is a revised date and time since it’s a longer presentation. The training will last for 2 hours and lunch will be provided. Non-supervisory participants will have completed their 1-hour requirement at about 1.25 hours and can leave at that time. Supervisors will stay for the remaining 45 minutes to complete their 2.0 hour requirement.
