Adobe Creative Cloud 101
PROGRAM RECAP:
Do Adobe programs intimidate you? Not sure what program to be using? Not sure how to get started? This will be an inviting beginner’s introduction to some of the most useful Adobe software/programs available. You will get a quick intro to programs such as Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop. You will learn the programs’ basic functionality and get more familiar with the tools available. We will demonstrate how to create a staff resume or firm profile & share helpful resources for you to feel comfortable using the programs on your own.
PRESENTER: Jennie Shimkus, Stephen Dalton Architects
Jennie is the Business Manager & Marketing Director at Stephen Dalton Architects, where she is responsible for the firm’s marketing, graphic design, business management, and more. She has a strong background in design and has a passion for creating strong working partnerships to help our clients best achieve their goals. She researches emerging trends, identifies new opportunities and provides greater public awareness of SDA’s unique blend of custom residential, civic, and mixed-use architecture. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Cal State University San Marcos with an emphasis in Visual Arts in 2014. Before entering the AEC Industry in 2017, she was designing and building art studio spaces for Museums. Jennie has been working as a free-lance graphic designer and marketing consultant for various companies and organizations throughout the past ten years.
